Ptarmigan

My son Adam and I along with two of our SMs had the opportunity to hunt
ptarmigan in August and again in September along the Denali Highway.

Sharptail Grouse

I had the opportunity to hunt sharptail grouse near Delta Junction. It was a beautiful Fall September day.

Spruce Grouse and Ruffed Grouse

The girls and I hunted spruce grouse and ruffed grouse along the Steese and Elliott Highways. We harvested several spruce grouse but did not connect on any ruffs.
